Review: Yeo Valley Strawberry Yeogurt with Orange Infused Granola

We are big Yeo Valley Yogurt fans in this house, so when we heard that there was a new Breakfast Yeogurt and Granola snack pot being launched I was very keen to give it a try!

We were sent some of the new Yeo Valley 0% Fat Strawberry Yeogurt with Orange Infused Granola pots to taste. I’m a big fan of yogurt for breakfast and usually mix it with cereal and fruit so I was expecting to enjoy the pots and I was right. The Strawberry Yogurt was really tasty and had a lovely texture compared to some other no fat yogurts which can be very watery! The Granola was tasty too, with oat flakes and pumpkin and sunflower seeds, all infused with orange. These made a tasty breakfast for those mornings when you need something fast.

I also thought you’d like to know about Yeo Valley’s latest offer with Jamie Oliver. Jamie is a fan of Yeo Valley and uses their products at home as well as in his TV series.

In stores now, all Yeo Valley Natural pots feature an instant win giving you a chance to win one of 10,000 new Jamie Oliver cookbooks – ‘Jamie’s 15-Minute Meals’.

To be in with a chance of winning one of these cookbooks all customers need to do is pick up a promotional pot of Yeo Valley’s yogurts, log on to Yeo Valley’s website, and enter the code from inside their pot on the competition page.

Yeo Valley’s Jamie Oliver on-pack cookbook offer is available on all pots in the natural range from October in all major retailers, until stocks last. And anyone who signs up to Yeo Valley’s mailing list will also receive a recipe from Jamie’s new cookbook.

Disclosure: We were sent some goodies from Yeo Valley, including samples of the new Yeogurt Snack Pot to review. All opinions are my own, they really are scrummy!

Yeo Valley Farm Tours and Garden Tours Competition

This summer Yeo Valley (they who make the yummy yogurt!) is opening its doors to the public with a series of Farm Tours and Garden Tours and I’m lucky enough to have a pair of tickets to give away!

Starting on 29th June, both of these full day tours will provide visitors with an insight into the organic world of the Yeo Valley family farm in Blagdon. While the farm tours will be led by local expert Les Davies MBE, the garden tours will include a special chef food demo on how to create the best-tasting dishes with organic produce. Whether you’re a fan of the products, are interested in gardening and sustainable methods, or would just like to get involved in a fun day out, Yeo Valley’s farm tours and garden tours have lots to offer.

Yeo Valley’s Farm Tours will be led by local expert Les Davies MBE. You will get the chance to learn about organic farming and why it is so important to our planet and the future of British farming, as well as meet Yeo Valley’s prize-winning, British Friesian cows! You’ll also see the fruits of some of our environment and conservation work, like dry-stone walls, hedges and woodland. Yeo Valley’s Farm Tours are a full day and include lunch at Wills Barn and afternoon tea.

The dates for the Farm Tours are:

  • 29th June
  • 6th July
  • 20th July
  • 28th September

For keen gardeners and green enthusiasts alike, Yeo Valley’s Garden Tours will give you the opportunity to meet like-minded people and learn some top tips from the horticultural experts at Yeo Valley. Taking place at the Organic Gardens’ Tea Room at Holt Farm in Blagdon, Yeo Valley’s Garden Tours will include a comprehensive garden tour – one of only a handful of organic gardens in the UK, a talk on organic ways to make wonderfully rich compost and keep weeds and pests under control organically, plus a special chef food demo on how to create the best dishes with organic produce from the vegetable plot.

The dates for the Garden Tours are:

  • 10th July
  • 24th July
  • 4th September
  • 18th September

Last year Yeo Valley’s Farm Tours were described as: “a fantastic day. The farm tour was brilliant and the staff were very helpful and obliging. Les Davies’ knowledge was second to none.’

The Garden Tours were described as having: “splendid plants and layout in an idyllic setting…all of those concerned with the organisation, planning and presentation of the tour were so knowledgeable and committed to their work.”

Yeo Valley’s Farm Tours and Garden Tours are both all-day events priced at £30 per person. For more information and to book visit

I have one pair of tickets worth £60 to give away. The winner can choose either the Garden Tour or the Kitchen Tour, and can choose from the available dates. The closing date is Wednesday 4th July and the winner, chosen at random from all valid entries will be contacted by email.
